For inexperienced traders you will need to go through the getting started format and open a "Demo Account" where you will be guided through what will eventually become very basic indeed. When you start understanding the do's and don'ts then you will be able to up-grade from a Demo Account. By then you will understand the very basics of banking. One of the first things you will learn is that you only trade 1% of the money in your trading account. You might think 1% won't make you much money; you might get the urge to invest more. That will be the greed factor tempting to lead you astray; don't do it. Not every trade runs at a profit and you can get bad runs as well as good runs of luck. Common sense is your best friend; your eyes and your ears will be the next most beneficial items in your itinerary. Always remember 1% profit or loss is better than 10% loss; OK 10% prifit is nicer but you should not be gambling on luck; this is really a business and that is exactly how you should go about your trading. Providing you stick to the rules you should not go wrong; with a few successful trades your 1% will be a bigger 1% than when you started. Eventually your 1% will match the same amount of money the professional traders trade with; and they will only be trading with 1%.
