The buccaneers of old look very tame

In-depth knowledge of the jungle and its people, along with good military experience, gives the reader a real insight into what is highly possible, and does happen in the tropical areas and on the high seas of the world.

Today's pirates no longer use cutlasses and daggers, preferring to use machine-guns or rocket launchers.

The stories all reflect the shocking ruthlessness of the criminals, and the innocence of the law abiding citizens.

Although the tropics are the hot spots for piracy, it can and does appear in the most unexpected places. Always remember, where there is an expanse of water; there could well be PIRATES.

This is the only place you can purchase these stories; they are not available anywhere else.

Here is what others have said:

"Firstly we enjoyed reading your book you have worked hard to evoke the lawless atmosphere of the criminals. You write with an accessible and even pace, and the narrative finds a satisfying conclusion. (The Book Guild Ltd. East Sussex.)

Our editorial department internal report has recommended your book for publication and are pleased to say that we would like to offer you a proposal for the publication of your book. (Minerva Press. London)

We are always pleased to give consideration to new work with the qualities that this manuscript has in abundance; strong, carefully thought out plot, interesting psychological insight into well developed characters, credible dialogue, plenty of pace and suspense and effective switches of scene. The written style is excellent, perfectly suited to the tale the author has to tell. (Janus Publishing. London.)

Your story is very well told, and has true potential. This is not true of all work we receive; much, indeed, is dross.(M and N Publishing Company. West Yorkshire.)

"The story is so good I can't believe I know the person who wrote it."

The headline is a quote by Audry. A former business woman and member of the Clacton Royal Naval Association. The first person ever to read this pirates story.

"Where's my dinner love," asked Roy Walker when he came home from work. "You will have to get your own. I am reading this book and I can't put it down," she replied.

Roy is a very understanding gentleman, he cooked a meal for both of them. Sandra his wife read the novel all through her meal hardly talking to Roy, because she was engrossed in the piracy tale. However they had arranged to see some friends that evening. Sandra regretted having to put the book down but she dressed to go out. All of the time Sandra wanted to go home and read until she reached the narrative. When it was time to leave their friends Sandra was really excited. When they arrived home the first thing did, she picked the novel and stayed in her armchair until she arrived at the completion of the story.

Sandra couldn't wait to tell me how much loved the story in spite of the unpleasantness of the brutal pirates.

Roy and Sandra live in Clacton-on-Sea, UK.
