Proud Gurkhas
The Gurkhas are Honourable Men
They were betrayed by the Labour Government
The campaign for the Gurkhas is very very valid

A PROUDER person you will not find; more than the Gurkha. He is proud to be a British soldier; and he is a fearless fighter who has fought in every major British battle; and with distinction for nearly two-hundred years.
The Gurkha is an honest man, he is proud of his reputation and he is proud of serving in the British Army. He would not let you down, his virtues are courage and honesty.
We could not find a more gallant warrior to serve alongside a British Soldier.
Below you can read of the struggle to give the Gurkha soldier, British rights, which have now been achieved.

The Sun Newspaper says
What a disgraceful betrayal of the brave, honourable and loyal Gurkhas. Labour change immigration rules to make it HARDER for Gurkhas and their families to settle here.
Yet there were no such problems when Afghan hijackers flew here. They've been allowed to stay.
The Labour Government has IGNORED public opposition to an immigration free-for-all; that has seen millions arrive, including terrorists alongside decent immigrants.
More than 200,000 Gurkhas fought for us in the World Wars, with 45,000 losing their lives. Labour snubs these heroes yet welcomes everybody else with open arms.
Labour's refusal to recognise our debt of honour to the Gurkhas shames our Nation.

The day after St Georges Day 2009
the Labour Government shamed themselves when they took the law into their own hands and betrayed the Gurkhas.
The Labour Government has permitted the world's rifraf and
criminals to stay in our Country; people who mock us, steal from us, and take us for fools.
The criminals claim human rights every time they break the law; yet they get away with it every time; then they are still allowed to remain here.
WHY?
Because decent people don't protest as vigorously as the imported rifraf do.
Decent people are respectful of the law; therefore they can easily be pushed around.
The Gurkhas are decent honourable people who need our support.
Last September the High Court said the United Kingdom owed the Gurkhas a "Moral Debt of Honour". It ruled as unlawful a policy excluding Gurkhas who retired from the Army before 1997 from settling here.
The Government barred thousands of brave Gurkhas who risked their lives for Britain from settling in the United Kingdom.
Campaigners had hoped up to 40,000 would be granted the right to live here after a landmark court ruling last year.
but it is feared that just 100 mainly top brass officers would meet the five stringent restrictions imposed by ministers.
Solicitors for the Gurkhas branded the move as "treachery."
Actress Joanna Lumley, whose father served with the Gurkhas., said: "I'm ashamed of our Government." "We're all shaken to the core."
Martin Howe, a solicitor for the Gurkhas, said: "It's nothing less than an act of treachery."
The Government said they could stay
But only if special circumstances apply; the ministers drew up their new guidelines, which were simply unbelievable?
TWENTY YEARS OF SERVICE-a rifleman is only allowed to do fifteen years. That makes this condition in most cases impossible?
A TOP BRAVERY AWARD-how many people can achieve that in a war-not many let alone in today's actions where the terms of engagement are now restricted by OUR Governments?
A CHRONIC or long-term medical condition caused by or aggravated by serving for Britain's Armed Forces. That can be questionable?
THREE YEARS CONTINUOUS UK residence during or after service-with six months in the UK and six months on active service-the later is practically impossible to achieve. After being away from home for fifteen or more years it has got to be hard not to want to return home to where you came from?
IF YOUR CLOSE family live in Britain, that has got to be a joke-if you are not allowed to live here how are your family going to be here?
British Army Gurkhas are among
The world's most fearsome warriors-their motto is-"Better to die than be a coward."
Up to 45,000 have laid down their lives for Britain during the two world wars. They have earned 13 Victoria Crosses for
incredible bravery.
Gurkhas-famous for their curved kukri knives-entered the British Army in 1815 and have fought in the Falklands, Iraq and Afghanistan. About 28,000 Nepalese youths compete for 200 places with the Gurkhas each year.
It is not the British people who have let the Gurkhas down.
It is the Labour Government that has acted so disgustingly.
Their treatment of the Gurkhas is another reason why they give Britain's a reason to feel ashamed. They let the dregs of the world come and stay, but fail our brothers in arms. There is
no doubt their decision is: shameful and is an absolute disgrace.
The response in support of an extraordinary
Groups of people demands the full, fundamental change in law that will allow all retired Gurkhas the right to live here. The Government's decision on 24th April goes nowhere near far enough.
Many thousands of Gurkhas who served our country will still be refused the right to live here.
The High Court demanded new rules from the Government.
The Government's response has been awful. We must be clear. We want the right for all Gurkhas who have served this country to live here if they wish.
They do not all want to live here; but all of the riffraff do.
